There is an alternative route to the one below which bypasses Sheffield.

M1 J36 - A61 - A616 - Deepcar - Bolsterstone - Across country south on Mortimer Road to the A57 - Lady Bower - then see below.

A very scenic route but NOT suitable for large vehicles or in wintry weather. See Multi Map.

Leave the M1 at Junction 36 and take the A61 towards Sheffield.

At the first roundabout, go straight on following signs for

Grenoside/Sheffield North  (NOT Sheffield Centre/ M1) staying on the A61.

After about 7miles, cross the roundabout and after you pass the large blue Sheffield Wednesday

football ground, prepare to turn right.

See a sign for Glossop.

Turn right at the Pizza Hut onto

the A6101

Keep on the A6101, crossing a small roundabout,

and reach Hillsborough Corner cross roads.

Carry straight on (following tram lines) for about 1/2 mile, past the long blue Towsure building on your left.

Then turn left, keeping on A6101, towards Glossop.

There are several 30mph and then 40mph speed cameras along this road.

At the end of the A6101, turn right onto the A57

towards Glossop.

Continue for about 6 miles until you reach the Lady Bower Reservoir.

Then turn left at the lights, towards Bamford.

Travel through Bamford and then after 1 mile,

turn right at the lights at the Sickleholme Service Station

      onto the A6187 towards Castleton.

After 1 mile, turn left at the Travellers Rest pub on the B6049

towards Bradwell.  You are now in Brough.

Drive past the barrier.  The studio is at the far end of the court yard to your left.

Parking

Please drive up to the studio and park immediately outside or as near as possible.

If the barrier is closed (at weekends), please park near the main gate.
